Dos and Don'ts
  • Do stay active
  • Don't eat shellfish
What should you expect in Week 10?
  • At this point in your pregnancy, you will have the choice to decide whether or not you’ll want to have a NIPT blood test completed.
  • This test screens for conditions such as Down syndrome and will also detect whether or not your baby is a boy or a girl.
  • Week 10 also means you’re solidly in your third month of pregnancy!
  • And although your baby’s eyes will stay closed until your 27th week, they are now fully formed and can see, Baby Center reports.
  • You’re definitely seeing and feeling your body change at this point in your pregnancy.
  • You may also be salivating more than normal!
  • Physicians suggest that drinking more water, chewing gum, and sucking on hard candy can help you swallow the excess saliva more easily.
