What should you expect in Week 6?
  • You are now well into your second month of pregnancy, and you and your baby are continuing to develop!
  • Things are moving quickly in terms of your baby’s development.
  • By now, as KidsHealth reports, your child’s brain and nervous system are developing, and they now have optic vesicles, which will soon become eyes!
  • In addition to all of that, your baby’s heart is now beating! It’s around this time you may be able to detect it during an ultrasound!
  • And Mama, you’re likely feeling your body adjust to the human growing inside of you!
  • You could be experiencing tender breasts, nausea, vomiting, and tiredness. You’re probably peeing more than usual as well.
