Household Chores You Should Avoid

When it comes to pregnancy there are so many shoulds and should nots!

As with everything and everyone, each pregnancy is different, so always discuss with your doctor first before adding different household chores to your To-Do list!
While you should always listen to your body when pregnant, many household chores are OK to complete.
However, there are a few that you should absolutely avoid, Parents.com reports, including:
Using harsh chemicals (If you’re needing to mop, make your own cleaning solution with white vinegar, lemon juice, and baking soda)
Changing the litter box (At no point in your pregnancy should you clean a liter box)
Parents.com also points out that as your pregnancy progresses, your center of gravity becomes altered and you may notice yourself becoming more clumsy.
As a result, it’s suggested that standing on raised surfaces in order to clean out of reach areas like ceiling fans should be left to someone else.
It’s also suggested that if you are lacking help, you can protect yourself by wearing a mask and gloves while cleaning and pregnant.
Also make sure all room are well ventilated and that you wash your hands immediately after finishing.
