What should you expect in Week 17?
  • Your baby is hard at working making adipose. Adipose is fat tissue that first appears in the face, neck, breasts, and stomach wall, Very Well Family reports.
  • From there, fat will begin to develop throughout the entire body.
  • And with that growth comes some lower back and pelvic pain for mom.
  • Your uterus and muscles are stretching to make room, so it’s important to listen to your body and take it easy if you need to.
  • Eating a nutritious and balanced meal while also finding a safe activity you enjoy can help with these aches and pains!
  • And don’t forget to stay hydrated and get as much sleep as possible!
  • Some low-risk exercises include indoor cycling, dancing, aerobics, prenatal yoga, swimming, stretching, and walking.
